Cold Plunge Water MaintenanceUpdated 2 days ago

Residential Unit:  We recommend changing your water bi-weekly, depending on usage. We recommend changing your water between filter changes to keep your water clean and sanitized. 


Non-Chlorine Option: This protocol should be used after every drain and refill

  1. Add 1 cup of food-grade hydrant peroxide 

  2. Add 4 oz of water stabilizer

  3. Add in new filter 

  4. Turn your plunge on and wait 15 minutes.



Commercial Units: We recommend changing your water 1-2 times per week depending on usage. We recommend changing your water between filter changes to keep your water clean and sanitized. To keep your LIT water clean and safe at home, follow the protocol below. Water quality can vary by location, so if you're using well water, make sure to reduce calcium levels before filling. High calcium can damage the pump over time. Use these instructions alongside your regular LIT maintenance. For help, contact [email protected].

Chlorine Option:

  1. Add 0.5-2ppm of chlorine 

  2. Add “oxidizer” as needed to maintain 100 ppm.

  3. Add in new filter

  4. Turn your plunge on and wait 15 minutes. 

  5. Use chlorine strips to ensure all levels are met.
