How to Connect Apple Watch to your LIT AppUpdated a year ago

Here are the steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue you're facing with your Apple Watch and LIT App:


1. Check if your Apple Watch and iPhone are paired correctly:

  • Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  • Check if your Apple Watch is listed at the top of the screen.
  • If your Apple Watch is not listed, you need to pair your watch with your iPhone.

2. Check your Apple Watch and iPhone's software updates:

  • Both devices should be updated to the latest software versions for the best compatibility.

3. Check the fitness app's permissions:

  • Go to your iPhone's settings and scroll down to find your fitness app.
  • Click on it to access its settings, and make sure that all the necessary permissions are granted, especially for Health and Fitness.

4. Check if the fitness app is installed on your Apple Watch:

  • Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  • Scroll down and look for the fitness app on the list. Make sure it's installed on your watch.

5. Check the fitness app's settings on your Apple Watch:

  • Open the fitness app on your Apple Watch and go to its settings.
  • Check if the heart rate monitor option is enabled.

6. Check the Bluetooth connection:

  • The Apple Watch communicates with the fitness app on your iPhone via Bluetooth, so ensure it's turned on for both devices.
If the issue persists after checking these areas, you may need to reinstall the LIT app on both your iPhone and Apple Watch. Here's how you can do that:

Reinstall the LIT App:

1.Uninstall the App from your iPhone and Apple Watch:

  • On your iPhone, press and hold the app you want to delete.
  • Tap Remove App.
  • Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.
  • Open the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll down to find the fitness app and select it.
  • Turn off 'Show App on Apple Watch' to uninstall it from your watch.

2. Restart both devices:

  • For iPhone, press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power off slider appears. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
  • For Apple Watch, press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider. Drag the slider to turn off your device. After your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

3. Reinstall the App on your iPhone and Apple Watch:

  • Go to the App Store on your iPhone and download the fitness app.
  • After the app is downloaded, open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  • Scroll down to find the fitness app on the list, and tap Install.

4. Grant necessary permissions:

  • Open the app on your iPhone and go through any initial setup.
  • It should prompt you for necessary permissions, including Health data access.
  • Ensure to grant access to Health data for heart rate.
